We will always do our best to care for your interests, but if you pay for insurance, you enjoy preferred terms and rapid crediting. In addition, you will enjoy an extended warranty on the purchased products.

The fee considers the parcel value, cost of shipping and cost of insurance.

$1 – Insurance cost 

1.5% of parcel value + shipping price.

For example: 

Items – $80

Shipping – $20

Insurance cost (1.5%*(80+20)) + $1 – $2.50

Items that whose shipment is prohibited under Israeli customs laws cannot be insured (Link).

In addition, fragile items and fluids are cannot be insured.

If you wish to purchase in insurance for such items, it will only cover loss, not damage. The products are shipped in the original package and we only add an external protective envelope. It is important to note that Shiptanbul does its best to pack the items to ensure safe.

To activate the insurance, send us an e-mail to the Shiptanbul logistic center

within 24 hours of receiving or picking up the parcel from the distribution point (Link – hello@shiptanbul.com).

Your e-mail must contain the reason for your claim and the following documents:

– E-mail address by which you are registered to our service.

– Parcel tracking number.

– Purchase invoice.

– Photos of the package.

– Photos of the damaged items.

– Delivery company/Collection point name and details.

– In some cases, you will be fully reimbursed for the price of the items instead of credit for future use on the site, all upon company discretion.

– In some cases, you will be credited within 7 business days after Shiptanbul completes the investigation process with the various suppliers as compared to a credit within 30 business days if you did not purchase insurance. All according to the terms of use.

– Handling and response where the company erred in your order, such as an incorrect size or model – you must present proof of purchase and proof of the error to our logistic service.
